First Look of '83', the sports drama starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, was unveiled. This Kabir Khan-directorial is an attempt to recreate the historic moment of India winning the 1983 World Cup under the leadership of Kapil Dev.
So much intensity could be seen on the faces of Actors who played the roles of veteran cricketers who kept the World in awe with their unbelievable achievement. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem appears as Mohinder Amarnath, Sahil Khattar gets into the shoes of Syed Kirmani, Adinath Kothare turns Dilip Vengsarkar, Dhairya Karwa gets to play Ravi Shastri, Chirag Patil is going to be Sandeep Patil, Ammy Virk will be seen as Balwinder Sandhu, Harrdy Sandhu appears as Madan Lala, Nishant Dahhiya plays Roger Binny, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, R Badree is now Sunil Valson and Dinker Sharma does the role of Kirti Azad. Pankaj Tripathi is going to essay the character of Coach PR Man Singh. This sports drama is jointly produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainments and 83 Films Limited. Telugu Version will be released by Annapurna Studios, Global Cinemas and Reliance Entertainment.
