Akkineni Akhil is desperate for a hit now. He debuted under a star director like VV Vinayak for 'Akhil' but it ended up as a disaster. His next two outings 'Hello' and 'Mr. Majnu' too were failures at the box-office. Now, he pinned all his hopes on his upcoming project with 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar.
The film's shooting is going on at a brisk pace and the team is aiming for a Ugadi release next year. Currently, the unit is canning a romantic song in hot deserts of Saudi Arabia. Apart from that, they will also be shooting a fight sequence there. The makers are spending lavishly on this project as it is very crucial for Akhil's career.
Hot and happening actress Pooja Hegde is romancing the Akkineni hero in this film. 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar is known for giving good characters to his heroines. Films like 'Bommarillu', 'Parugu' and 'Orange' stand as perfect examples. Bhaskar too needs a hit to survive in the industry as his last flick 'Ongole Gitta' released back in 2013 was a flop.
