Ace director Shankar Shanmugam, popularly known as S. Shankar suffered a personal loss on Tuesday after his mother, S. Muthulakshmi passed away due to age-related issues in Chennai.
S. Muthulakshmi was 88 years old. As per the official sources, her last rites would be conducted on Wednesday. Given the Covid scare, only limited invitees are expected to be invited for her last rites.
