Post Baahubali series, Prabhas emerged as a big Pan-India star and he has been doing films on a Pan-India scale these days. All his upcoming films are Pan-India films and the films are carrying high expectations. With this, the budgets of these films go up to hundreds of crores each.

His upcoming films include Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut. The upcoming film marks the first Mythology-based film in Prabhas's career. His fans are eagerly waiting to see how Prabhas will pull off the role of Lord Rama in the high-ticket film.

Well, the new news related to Adipurush is, the makers are not following the old trend reportedly and Lord Rama’s appearance is also not going to be the way we have been in old films and the makers are reportedly taking utmost care in this aspect.

Telugu cinema is very good at dealing with mythological films. A few heroes played these roles and they looked cleanly shaved. Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who acted in many mythology films started the trend of showing mythological characters in clean shaved look and others followed the same.

But the makers of Adipurush are said to be not following the trend and the characters are believed to be having a raw and rustic look, unlike the old films. Though Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, the characters will be gracing the raw look.

It is said that director Om Raut did a lot of research on how people used to look back then. As Rama, Laxmana and Sita were doing Aranyavasam, they might have a rustic look and the makers are reportedly exploring the angle.

Though the news is doing rounds, we have to wait and see how the makers will show the celebrated characters from the Hindu Epic Ramayana. All the doubts and theories surrounding the film will be cleared once Adipurush hits the theaters.

Adipurush is one of the much-awaited films which is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Om Raut is helming the project and T-Series Films and Retrophiles are bankrolling the Pan-India film. Adipurush is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages. Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing Sita and Ravana respectively in the upcoming film.
