The ongoing second wave of Covid-19 which resulted in India reporting record infections has hit the Bollywood industry very hard and the list of people getting infected is getting increased day by day.
The other day, Akshay Kumar, one of the fittest heroes in the business has tested positive for the virus and admitted himself to the hospital after the doctors advised him to do so.
As per the media reports, Akshay Kumar came in contact with the respiratory disease while shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu. After Akshay Kumar, 45 junior artists working for the film were tested positive for the virus reportedly.
According to the Bollywood media, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) General Secretary Ashok Dubey confirmed the news of 45 junior artists testing positive for Covid-19.
After the massive infections were detected, the makers of Ram Setu have reportedly halted the shooting of the film until further notice.
