Box-Office: Underdog 'Agent' Roaring Big

Though both the teaser and trailer of some small budget films are impressing the audience, the collections are not that satisfactory. The same happened with Naveen Polishetty's debut film 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya'.
The movie opens with a decent response from the audience but whether the movie can become a commercial hit or not has become a hot topic. Of course, the word of mouth and the promotions worked out well for this film. Interestingly, more than the opening date, the second and third day collections of 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya' and are high. Till now, the movie has made a gross of 6.5 crores. As it is, the distributors are already in the safe zone. Even, in the overseas, the movie is inching towards the 2 lakhs dollar club.
The trade is expecting that Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya movie can easily join the 10 crore club by completing the full run. Also, the word of mouth increased the demand for satellite and digital rights which benefitted the producers.
