Did Mr. Majnu Rejected This Hit Remake?

Oh My Kadavule, a Tamil romantic comedy film released earlier this year got good acclaim, and good collections. Apparently, popular producer PVP have brought the Telugu and several other languages remake rights of this film.
The latest buzz in the film circles is that PVP approached young actor Akhil to star in this remake. However, Akhil refused his offer and showed no such interest in this.
In fact, this film easily connects to present generation, but Akhil rejecting it amazed many people. Maybe he might have thought this film looks similar to Mr. Manju which ended in disappointment.
So, we've to wait and see which actor take ups this challenging role. It may be hard for PVP to rope a young hero as all the young heroes are busy with a bunch of projects in hand.
