The pre-release event of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu's Akhanda was held in Hyderabad the other night. The event had all the necessary ingredients to make for a winning promotional campaign and it kept the audience hooked all the way through. SS Rajamouli and Allu Arjun attended the event as the chief guests. They spoke at length at the event and provided a whole lot of entertainment to the viewers.

Speaking at the event, Rajamouli said "I hope Akhanda will be the film that pulls the audience to theatres in big numbers. I am sure that there will be house full boards in cinema halls across the twin Telugu states from the 2nd of December when Akhanda hits the big screens. The film has a massy vibe to it. I want Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu to reveal the secret behind their mass combination. I have watched the trailer of the film and it is a mass treat. I am sure that Akhanda will be the big film that pulls the Telugu cinema fans to the theatres."

Allu Arjun said "I personally like Balakrishna garu very much. I grew watching up Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna's films. Balakrishna garu has the best diction for any Telugu hero in the industry. He is a true and real human being and he likes to keep things honest. He liked being himself. The Nandamuri and the Allu family have been sharing a very close rapport for a long time now. Sr NTR garu and my grandfather Allu Ramalingiah were very goo friends. My father Allu Aravind and Balakrishna garu are from the same generation. Now, Balakrishna garu is a father-like figure for me."

Balakrishna said "Akhanda is the third collaboration between me and Boyapati Sreeny.I am not going to speak much about the film. But I can assure you that the film is going to be a mass treat for everyone. It is essential that the Telugu audience come to watch the film in theatres. I also wish Telugu audience encourage other films like Pushpa, RRR, and Acharya."

Akhanda is hitting the silver screens on the 2nd of December. Boyapati Sreenu is directing this massy action thriller.
