There are many star music composers over the last couple of decades who ruled the roost in South India. Mani Sharma, AR Rahman, Devi Sri Prasad, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja and others occupied the top spot in South India for a certain period of time in their careers. Coming to the current times, there is only one music composer who comes to our mind when we think of the number one position in South India.
He is definitely Anirudh Ravichander. The young sensation came to the film industry in 2012 and created a storm right with his first song 'Kolaveri Di'. It was a sensation at that time and became internationally famous. The whole album of '3' is still a favourite for many. After some hit compositions, he entered the star league within no time. He has given music for every star Tamil hero starting from Rajnikanth to Siva Karthikeyan. Anirudh gave super hit tunes for Pawan and Nani too and is currently working on #NTR30.

Recently, Anirudh came up with a tweet and it has instantly raised the buzz over #NTR30. He posted a picture of star filmmaker Koratala Siva and himself sitting in his studio and discussing something. He wrote that it is going to be special and tagged NTR, Kalyan Ram and the production banners. This post is going viral and fans cannot wait to hear Anirudh's rocking BGMs and mass songs for NTR.
Anirudh is in the golden form at the moment. He gave music for four movies which are 'Beast', 'KRK', 'Don', ‘Thiru' and 'Vikram'. While 'Vikram' and 'Beast' were big hero films, 'KRK' and 'Don' were entertainers. This shows his versatility and while some movies may flop, his music never failed.
