Another Star Hero Approached For Muttiah Muralitharan's Biopic

The biopic of legendary Sri Lanka spinner, Muttiah Muralitharan has sparked a controversy in Tamil Nadu. The Tamilians have opposed the film and even abused and threatened Vijay Sethupathi for playing the former Sri Lankan cricketer role in Biopic.
However, after facing the wrath of angry Tamilians, Vijay had opted out of the project. Notably, the cricketer himself asked the actor to walk out of the project as he didn't want Vijay's reputation to be damaged with his biopic.
The latest we hear is that the makers of the film had approached Dhanush even before Sethupathi. But the actor politely denied the offer. Later they wanted to rope TeeJay, but he said no.
The makers are still in a hunt to lock a perfect hero to play the terror on the cricket field. Meanwhile, Muralitharan clarified that the movie will definitely be made and there is no going back. And we have to see who will act in this project and when does the shooting kickstarts.
