Can The Makers Find Such Talented Actors For The Remake?

Few films are better untouched. They seem to work for a reason in one language but for the same reason they could flop in others.
If a star cast plays important role in movie's box office victory, we cannot expect the same to repeat in other languages, if the star cast is not upto the mark.
Also, a TV serial kind of set-up with a realistic touch and genre specific humour can work on a National scale but at a regional level, it needs more careful writing.
Boney Kapoor decided to bring Badhaai Ho in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The movie became a huge hit in Hindi starring a delightful cast like Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta.
Movie collected close to 150 crores Nett gross and it is one of the biggest money earners in 2018.
May be we can find young actors but Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri are hard to find a replacement that too in regional languages.
Also, the premise of a woman becoming pregnant in late 40's and early 50's when she has a 25 year old son, who is also in love might seem too weird for conservative families on a regional scale.
We have to wait and see, if Boney Kapoor can also make it happen like bringing a massive star in his prime, Thala Ajith for Pink remake, Ner Konda Parvaai.
