Earlier she has suffered a bitter phase in life after breakup with a star and went into depression and fought back victoriously and thus takes in privilege to encourage youth to counter depression and mental illness.
On the film front after the 'Chhapaak' debacle this January, She is acting as Kapil's wife in Ranveer Singh's film '83' the biopic of Kapildev and journey of Cricket Worldcup led up ace Cricketer Kapil Dev. Deepika is also in plans to start her own production house.
