Post the reopening of theatres, people flocked into the theatres which gave a huge boost for the filmmakers. The Sankranti releases too managed to get good numbers at the box-office. Now, all the eyes have turned towards the next big season for Tollywood, the summer.
It seems like many interesting films are getting lined up to hit the screens this summer season. Films including 'Vakeel Saab', 'Acharya', 'Radhe Shyam', 'KGF 2', 'Love Story', 'Tuck Jagadish' and others are getting released with a lot of expectations. With this, the trade has come to life again with taking advances, booking theatres before in hand and many others.
Sources say that the exhibitors are demanding the bigwigs to convince the government on allowing 100% occupancy by summer. The big films are looking forward to announcing the release dates based on the changes in occupancy. Only small and medium level films gave away the release dates but big films didn't confirm anything officially. Nonetheless, the film lovers can expect a huge feast in the next couple of months.
