TRP War: Bigg Boss Vs NTR's Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu

Telugu small screen shows Bigg Boss season 5 and Jr NTR's Evaru Meelo Kotesswarulu are indulging in a TRP battle of sorts as both the shows are being aired almost at the same time.
As for TRP ratings, Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu recorded a week-long average of 7.2, which is pretty decent for an infotainment show. Jr NTR's presence is working really well for the show.
On the other hand, Bigg Boss season 5 recorded an overall TRP rating of 18 for its first week. The show got off to a bright start as far as the TRPs are concerned but there is still scope for betterment.
While Bigg Boss has a comparatively more attention-grabbing theme than that of Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, the latter is boosted by the presence of Jr NTR.
But as far as channel ratings go, Star MAA is way ahead of the game in Telugu small screen entertainment industry. Despite, the success of Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, Gemini TV is yet to hit top gear.
