A lot of star heroines who are enjoying stardom in the South are showing a lot of interest in Bollywood lately. This is not a new trend as many beauties have used South cinema as a launchpad to Hindi movies in the past. We've seen beauties like Shriya, Kajal, Tamanna, Ileana, Asin and many others do this before. Interestingly, most of them were North beauties which explain their interest in making it big in Bollywood but we are seeing a lot of South heroines going to Bollywood recently.

Despite being a star heroine in Tollywood, dusky siren Pooja Hegde is trying to become successful in Hindi. She already worked with Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar in 'Mohenjodaro' and 'Housefull 4' respectively. She is currently working with Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh in 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' and 'Cirkus' respectively. She already owns a house in Mumbai which is making it easy for her.

On the other hand, we have Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna who became a star in South India within a short time. She is acting in a pan-Indian film like 'Pushpa' and apart from that, she has accepted two films namely 'Mission Majnu' and 'Goodbye' in Hindi. In order to make herself comfortable, the 'Geetha Govindham' girl reportedly rented a flat in Mumbai. Even Akkineni's daughter-in-law Samantha is also looking out for a house in Mumbai as she is reportedly getting a lot of offers from Hindi after her stellar act in the second season of 'Family Man'. Actresses like Rakul Preet and Priyamani are spending time in Hyderabad as well as Mumbai and planning their schedules accordingly for a long time.

Seems like the Bollywood fever has gripped the Southern beauties too. The sudden spike in the usage of the internet has exposed the North audience to a lot of South Indian films and they started to develop a liking for our heroes and heroines. Realizing this, the North Indian filmmakers are roping in the Southern heroines to cash in on their craze. Let us wait and see how successful does the South heroines end up in the North market.
