Director Ignored At 'Kabir Singh' Trailer Launch

If Vijay Devarakonda is a successful and crazy hero in the Telugu film industry today, it is certainly because of the film Arjun Reddy and the movie's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Though Pelli Choopulu was also a hit film, it was Arjun Reddy that made Vijay a big and unmatchable star in the industry. The film got remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor reprising the role of Vijay. The film unit launched the theatrical trailer yesterday but the attention that Bollywood media showed towards the director is very less!
Usually, the media in Bollywood asks silly and pathetic questions at least to the director but they completely ignored Sandeep Reddy Vanga at the trailer launch event. They posed more and more questions to Shahid and the film's heroine Kiara Advani. The director who was also present along with them on the dais had to remain silent and watch the show.
Yet again, the Bollywood media fails in appreciating a talent from South by not giving the necessary attention. If Shahid and Kiara are the most important persons at the event, the director must also deserve the same place. After all, they are nothing without the director. But, the icing on the cake was Shahid mentioning Sandeep's name wherever possible and giving him the due credit.
