The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has been cruel towards the entertainment industry across the languages. We have lost a few personalities of the industry to the pandemic, while several of them have come in contact with the deadly virus.

Critically acclaimed Bollywood actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal has joined the list of actors, who succumbed to the virus in the second wave. He breathed his last due to Covid-19 related complications.

Bollywood filmmaker Vikram Bhatt took to social media to share the sad news. Sharing a pic of Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, Mr. Bhatt said, Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away. Taken from us by the cruel pandemic.

"Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away. Taken from us by the cruel pandemic. I have done a lot of films with him and this doesn't get closer home. The days are turning into one long obituary and yet each life that we lose cannot be just a number. We cannot allow it to become a number. Each a special friend. May his soul rest in peace," his post reads.

Noted faces in Bollywood like Richa Chadha, Gulshan Devaiah, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ashoke Pandit, Rohit Bose Roy, and several others have condoled the demise of the acclaimed actor.

During his career, he appeared in several films like Anil Kapoor' starrer 24, Page 3, Corporate, Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Chance Pe Dance, 2 States, Zanjeer.

He appeared in popular television series like 24, Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali, Siyasat, and Special OPS and impressed the audience with his stellar performances.
