The majorly affected area for our Tollywood due to the pandemic and lockdown is definitely the overseas market. It used to be one of the biggest money-spinners for our films and it took a severe beating. A couple of films that released post lockdown including the Sankranti outings failed to perform abroad which raised a lot of concerns.

But it looks like things are returning back to normal once again. Considering the circumstances, 'Uppena' did exceedingly well in the US arena and some good offers are being made to crazy films. Great India films which released 'Uppena' in the US and Pride Cinemaa which bought the same film in Australia have reportedly opened the doors once again.

As per latest reports, Pride Cinemaa bagged the overseas rights of Balayya and Boyapati's '#BB3' and they are close to signing Nani's 'Tuck Jagadish' too. The same company has bought the rights of Nithiin's March release 'Rang De' which is a romantic comedy and they are even releasing Nithiin's 'Check' directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti which is releasing this weekend. Hope the market will be back to its full glory soon.
