Can 96 remake - Jaanu Repeat The Success?

Dil Raju took his time to start promotions of Jaanu, Sharwanand and Samantha starrer film. He wanted to release it in December but did not want to clash with films scheduled to release in December.
He is now releasing the movie on 7th February and the trailer off the film, similar to original has been released on 29th January.
The movie is expected to repeat the success it achieved in Tamil in Telugu also, but the audio did not create same buzz for the film.
The fact is that the film went unnoticed due to Sankranthi films and the recent music release also, did not improve the buzz.
In this one week, Sharwanand and Samantha have to pull in as many shots as they can in publicity to make sure that the movie will have a decent opening.
Box office wise, 96 bloomed very late but it had a strong run that even though it was released on OTT platforms and telecasted on TV, many Tamil audiences watched it in theatres.
It is an urban cult classic love story and can it get the same status in Telugu as same team worked for it with different cast, we don't know yet. The success of the film is important for Sharwanand, more than anyone else.
