Can 'Bheeshma' Achieve what 'Jaanu' And 'WFL' couldn't?

Nithiin and Rashmika's romantic entertainer 'Bheeshma' is all set to hit the screens on 21st February. The film is arriving with good expectations on it as the trailers and songs generated a positive vibe around it. February has not been lucky for Tollywood so far as 'Jaanu' and 'World Famous Lover' failed badly at the box-office. Both did a pre-release business of around 25 crores and weren't successful in earning it back.

Now, 'Bheeshma' did a theatrical business of 23.5 crores worldwide. It was sold for 6.30 crores in the Nizam area and for 3.06 crores in Ceeded. The Uttarandhra business was done for 1.8 crores while Krishna and Guntur's rights were combinedly sold for 2.95 crores. East and West Godavari summed up to 2.75 crores. The whole AP/TG rights were sold for 17.50 crores while the rest of India and overseas rights collectively went for 4.40 crores.

So, 'Bheeshma' has to get a good talk right from the morning shows to earn back this money and enter the safe zone. Nithiin has been suffering from a slump in form as his last three films turned out to be big failures. But the holiday weekend may favor the film. Let us wait and see what happens.
