It looks like Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting linked to all the remakes of star hero films in other languages these days. He made his comeback with Tamil hero Vijay's 'Kaththi' remake and there is news that he will be working on the Malayalam movie 'Lucifer' remake as soon as e completes 'Acharya'.
'Lucifer' featured Kerala legendary star Mohanlal in the lead and VV Vinayak is expected to handle this remake in Telugu. On the other hand, Meher Ramesh will be directing the remake of Tamil star hero Ajith's 'Vedalam'. Chiranjeevi is said to have given his green signal to Meher and it surprised many.
In the meanwhile, rumors claim that Chiranjeevi is showing interest in another film of Ajith. It is 'Yennai Arindhaal' directed by Gautham Menon. It was dubbed and released in Telugu as 'Yentha Vaadu Kaani'. Ajith played the role of a senior police officer who lives with his daughter. Apparently, Chiru is keen on buying the rights from AM Ratnam and make it in his son's 'Konidela Production' banner. The director's name hasn't come out yet but it is to be seen if this rumor ends up being true or not.
