'RRR' is a movie that will remain in the history of Indian cinema forever. It is the first Indian film to get an Oscar award and make every Indian proud. Not just the Oscar but the movie won various international awards in several categories. It got a huge reception from the foreign audience and showcased the potential of Telugu cinema to people across the globe. As a part of attending the Oscars, the entire team including director SS Rajamouli, composer MM Keeravani, heroes Ram Charan and NTR, lyricist Chandrabose, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairavaa, Rama Rajamouli and others promoted the movie in America.

It is a dream for many people to walk on the red carpet of the Oscars and the producer DVV Danayya who spent around 400 crores on the project was not seen anywhere and it surprised many. A lot of rumours popped up and some them claimed that Rajamouli completely sidelined the producer and the elite director spent 80 crores from his pocket for the Oscars campaign.

During a recent interview, DVV Danayya responded to all these rumours on the internet. He said that people will remember him as the producer of 'RRR' and it is enough for him. He added that winning Oscar for 'Naatu Naatu' song made him very proud. He cleared that there is no truth behind the news of Rajamouli sidelining him and stated that Rajamouli respects his producers a lot. He told that Rajamouli is a very good man and it was his decision not to go to the Oscars.

Danayya made it clear that he doesn't like all the attention which is why he kept his distance from the Oscars and stated he gained a lot of fame with 'RRR' which more than enough for him. Talking about the 80 crores, Danayya clarified that he did not spend any money and added that he doesn't know if Rajamouli spent it or not. Later he told that no one spends such a huge amount and claimed that it is not possible.
