Dhanush Upset About His Film's Release!

Despite getting completed long back, star hero Dhanush and new-age director Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jagame Thanthiram' failed to release till now. The makers halted the film's release due to the lockdown last year but producer Sasikanth remained silent even after the lockdown has been lifted.
Within a few weeks, he announced that 'Jagame Thanthiram' will be released on Netflix directly. Fans of Dhanush were very upset about this and even protested against it. The versatile hero had to come out and claim that he likes to have a theatrical release at all costs. He made his intention very clear but it is up to the decision of the producer. Now, the team of 'Jagame Thanthiram' has announced that it will be premiering on Netflix on 18th June. Along with the producer, director Karthik Subbaraj too tweeted about it.
But there is no promotion from Dhanush's side whatsoever. This proves that he got completely disconnected from 'Jagame Thanthiram' and shifted his focus onto other projects. His recent outing 'Karnan' is doing well despite the 50% occupancy rule. So, the fans hoped that a crazy film like 'Jagame Thanthiram' will be released in theatres but all they ended up with was a disappointment.
