Dil Raju is known for his accurate judgement and good film production values. He involves into the process, so early, that the directors and writers fear disappointing him at script stage, itself.
There are many writers and directors, who try to find that one story that will make Dil Raju produce their film, around him. Somehow, he is delivering flops these days, that are not upto his mark, in any essence.
He delivered a flop like Iddari Lokam Okate on 25th December. The movie starring Raj Tharun had no redeeming qualities for it to be saved from being a box office bomb.
Movie seemed so outdated that a producer like Dil Raju shouldn't have been tempted to make it. And the inside word from the Industry sources, is that, he did not like the film first half.
He even asked the production to be halted but the director convinced him to go ahead, it seems. As a producer, his judgement proved to be right again but it is a costly acid test, one has to say.
Raj Tharun and Dil Raju combination is somehow not clicking at the box office. Both the films - Lover and Iddari Lokam Okate, have been biggest box office bombs of their careers.
