A multi-starrer film which is majorly in news these days, had to close the deal for digital rights and they invited one of the giants, it seems.
Normally, producers invite distributors, exhibitors, Satellite marketeers, audio marketeers and Digital video streaming platforms showing the trailer and marketability of the starcast.
Producers welcome rates by telling the budget of the film and some of their asking prices are exorbitant these days showing the previous film collections of the star heroes.
Hence, stars get such high remuneration and importance from producers. Even stars cash-in too, so that they can be assured about making money when they had a chance.
But a steaming giant gave just Rs. 2 crores offer to the multi-starrer and when producers asked for more, they asked producers to show them the rushes.
After watching it, based on the review of the committee, they came back with only Rs. 1 crore offer it seems. Producers have postponed taking any decision on selling the rights at the moment, it seems.
