Dil Raju Claims 'ICON' As His Immediate Project!

After a hit film like 'MCA', the combination of producer Dil Raju and director Venu Sriram was supposed to join hands with Allu Arjun for a film titled 'ICON'. They even released a concept poster with Bunny's name on it. But things didn't materialize as planned and the project has been shelved.
Allu Arjun went ahead and took up 'Pushpa' directed by Sukumar. Venu Sriram and Dil Raju on the other hand became busy with Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab'. The one question that haunted Raju and Venu Sriram all through the promotions of 'Vakeel Saab' was the future of 'ICON'. Now that 'Vakeel Saab' is a hit, many are hoping that this much-awaited movie with Allu Arjun goes on floors soon.
Speaking of 'ICON' during a recent event, Dil Raju said, âOur immediate next is 'ICON.' Personally, I got connected to the script and it is close to my heart. From the time when Sriram Venu narrated this line, we have worked on it and the full-fledged script is ready. We have a good script and we believed in it. Due to some inescapable reasons, the film got pushed. We shall start.â
Allu Arjun has Koratala's project on hands after 'Pushpa' but with the 'Mirchi' director announcing his next with NTR, the ball is in Bunny's court now as he needs to decide if he wants to work on 'ICON' first or on any other project.
