Dil Raju's ambitious production 'V' starring Nani and Sudheer Babu has been stuck inside the boxes for months now. Mohan Krishan Indraganti made this film with a lot of effort and took care of the minute details to make it a fantastic experience for the audience. He used a team from Mumbai to get the right sound quality and Dil Raju spent over 35 crores on this film. 'V' was Nani's 25th film with a good cast and even better technicians.
Indraganti wanted this film to get a theatrical release and said a couple of times before that his film deserves to be watched in theatres but not in smartphones. With no clarity over the reopening of theatres and the reception of the audience, Dil Raju is reportedly leaning towards a digital release now.
This came in a shocker not only to the heroes and the director but for the distributors too. At a time when the exhibitors and distributors are protesting that OTT platforms are eating away their revenues, Dil Raju, a big distributor himself going for a digital release is shocking everyone and is making them upset as per sources. There is also news that Dil Raju will be releasing 'V' in a platform where he owns a minor share.
