Not every film is worth spending huge money on. That too if the film has a debut hero and he is a director who has been in the industry for a long time. But star producer Dil Raju is taking a huge gamble with 'Seenayya' which marks the entry of the once star director VV Vinayak as a hero.
The film has been announced long back and the first look was also released which received mixed responses. There is no buzz on this film and there is no surety on how many people are willing to watch this film. The film was made with a budget of 10 crores as per sources which is too much for the debut film of VV Vinayak.
Vinayak maybe the director who gave the first hit to Raju with 'Dil'. But spending 10 crores on 'Seenayya' is a huge risk.
Vinayak is in his worst form as a director right now and the result of 'Seenayya' may not matter to him as he can go back to directing again. But it will be a huge blow for Dil Raju as he produced some flops in the last two years. With questions being raised over his judgment, it is to be seen whether Raju's gamble works with Vinayak or not.
