Natural star Nani likes to work with fresh talents. He introduced a lot of filmmakers into the industry and scored hits with him. Many of them turned into successful directors as well and Srikant Oodela is the latest one to arrive. 'Dasara' is his first film and it is all set to hit the screens on 30th March. Do you know, how Nani tested Srikant before giving him the big chance?
This is how it happened. Srikant took Nani's appointment and made a deal to narrate the movie within an hour. As Srikant Oodela is an introvert, Nani reportedly doubted whether he can narrate a story or not. But the director turned a one-hour narration into four hours. Nani was mightily impressed by it but had doubts about whether he could picturize it in the same way he narrated or not.
Apparently, Nani gave him an amount that won't even be enough to make a short film and asked Srikant Oodela to film two scenes. He offered to do a film with Srikant if the two scenes turned out to be good. Srikant came up with those two scenes within four days and used the actors he wanted for these scenes as well. While Nani was on his way to the airport, he picked up Srikant and watched the scenes on his laptop. Highly impressed with it, Nani gave the green signal to Srikant Oodela before reaching the airport. This is now the director passed Nani's interesting test.
Keerthy Suresh is the heroine in this flick. Santosh Narayanan composed the music. Naveen Nooli is the editor while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the director of photography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Dheekshith Shetty plays a key role in this movie while Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Zarina Wahab and others play key roles. The movie will be released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
