Fans Disappointed As 'Shaakunthalam' Gets Postponed Again!

The team of 'Shaakunthalam' has officially announced that their movie will not be released on 17th February as everyone expected. The team released the trailer and two songs too as part of promotions but they decided to push the release date further due to various reasons.
They said, "We regret to inform our beloved audience that we would not be able to release 'Shaakunthalam' this 17th of February. We would be announcing the release date soon. Thank you for your continued support and love." This has left all the Samantha fans very disappointed as they were eagerly waiting to witness this mythological drama.
The shooting of this project got wrapped up in August 2021 as announced by the makers. They have announced various release dates but kept on postponing the release for some reason. We need to wait and see when the movie's unit announces the new release date.
Samantha is playing the title role while Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyantha. Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha will be seen in a special cameo. Music is composed by Mani Sharma while 'Shaakuntalam' is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Neelima Guna produced this film while Shekar V Joseph is the cinematographer. Prawin Pudi is the editor while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues.
Presented by Dil Raju, Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyanta. Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Rah, Gautam, Kabir Bedi, Kabir Singh Duhan and others played key roles. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Venkat and King Solomen have designed the action. The movie is supposed to release in 3D format too.
