The entire film industry is suffering a lot due to the unexpected lockdown that was implemented by the government. A lot of films that had some good buzz around them have completely faded away in the minds of the audience. People forgot about them and it is going to be a tough task for the makers to bring back that hype once again.
Two such films are 'Narappa' and 'Bangarraju'. 'Narappa' is a remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Asuran'. Venkatesh is the hero and the first look posters generated a lot of buzz. The film's shooting was almost completed but the sudden break took a toll on this film. All that hype is gone and it is to be seen how they manage to generate some hype once again for this offbeat film.
On the other hand, 'Bangarraju' which is a sequel of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' was in the discussion stage for a long time. Director Kalyan Krishna waited for Nagarjuna's green signal for a long time. The film is yet to begin its shooting and inside sources say that the film may get shelved permanently keeping in mind the current circumstances. Let us wait and see what happens.
