Now a few scientists have come up with a piece of good news for Red Wine lovers. In a recent study they have found out that the chances of contracting Covid among Red Wine drinkers are less compared to non-drinkers.
A recent study said that those who take Red Wine are very less prone to get infected with the virus. The study also said that various types of alcohol offer a particular level of protection against the pandemic. However Red Wine has the best protection.
However Beer and other types of alcohol increase the chances of contracting Covid. More than 4 lakh people who have the habit of taking alcohol were examined for the study and found out that a few types of alcohol offer protection against Covid while a few types increase chances.
Having said that the experts who carried out the study said that besides the types of alcohol one takes other factors like the health condition and the metabolism of one's body also play a key role in determining the Covid infection.
