Mega Hero Varun Tej who recently scored a memorable blockbuster movie with 'F2: Fun and Frustration' is going to come up a remake movie 'Valmiki' which is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster film 'Jigarthanda'.
Varun Tej who is known for his interesting story selection is now going to play the role of a villain in this movie. In the Tamil version, Bobby Simha played the antagonist role whereas Siddharth played the lead role. In the Telugu version, titled as 'Valmiki', Atharva is going to play the lead role and Varun will be reprising Bobby Simha's role in the film. Harish Shankar is helming the Telugu version of the film. Tamil beauty in Mrinalini Ravi is going to play a crucial role in this film. As per the latest reports, the Mega Hero has joined the shooting of the movie today and he shared the same on social media through Twitter. "Day 1 of shoot for #Valmiki Super kicked about this one!" Tweeted Varun.
If the buzz is to be believed, the shooting of the first schedule will take place for 35 days. Touted to be a gangster comedy, we have to wait and see if the Telugu version can create the same magic as the Tamil version or not.
