It is well aware that Allu Arjun's upcoming film 'Pushpa' directed by Sukumar is a rural drama set in a backdrop of red sanders smuggling. Around 85% of the shooting needs to be done in the forest areas which became a major concern for the team.
First, the team planned a schedule in Bangkok which got dropped. Then, they decided to go to Kerala but their plans were affected by the virus outbreak. With the pandemic affecting everyone, the team reportedly decided to look for suitable forest locations within the Telugu states.
On the other hand, Mega fans are worrying about 'Pushpa' as the last two forest-based films from Mega family are 'Anji' and 'Mrugaraju' which failed badly at the box-office.
Sources say that the team is planning to shoot in forest areas of Telangana but they are reportedly not suiting Sukumar's vision which is why they are looking for other locations. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming few days. News is that the shooting will commence from September or October. Rashmika is the heroine in this film and music is being composed by Devi Sri Prasad. 'Pushpa' is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
