Indian cinema is one of the largest and biggest film industries in the world. Besides NRIs living in other nations, the western people and other countries are also watching films making overseas a bigger market. Overseas is not confined to the United States, other nations are also becoming a big arena for us.

The Gulf nations are also turning out to be a big market for Indian cinema. Films coming from Bollywood and Malayalam cinema make big noise at the box office and the stars also give special focus on promoting their films in the gulf nations. A few stars own properties there.

The trend of shooting films in the middle east nations is also increasing rapidly. Seeing this, the UAE is making sure that it takes an active part in promoting the nation when it comes to making investments and shooting purposes.

The Arab country has been granting golden visas to the leading stars across the languages. A few stars were given the visas already and another star joined the list now.

None other than Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan received the golden visa from the UAE. The star hero who is riding high on the phenomenal success of his recent film Vikram received the golden visa.

The golden visa system was introduced by the UAE in 2019 so that more investments and talent will step onto its land. Those who get the special visas will be given special benefits for the foreign talents to allow them to work there as part of their long-term residence.

The locations and sceneries in the Arab nations will bring a grandeur look and with the stars getting the visas, we can expect more films to get filmed there.

The list of Indians who have the UAE Golden Visa is very big. The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan got the maiden visa from India. Stars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Tovino Thomas, Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amala Paul, Venkat Prabhu, R Parthiepan, Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, and a few others got the visas so far. The official data shows that more than 40 actors from India received the golden visa.
