Heroine Vindhya attempts suicide

In a shocking incident, Kannada upcoming actress Vindhya tried to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills on Wednesday in Bangalore. According to reports the actress, whose latest movie Manasa Mareyali is all set for release, was extremely upset with rumours pertaining to her break up, doing the rounds.
Vindhya consumed pills at her house in Agrahara Dasarahalli near Vijaynagar and is now undergoing treatment at the ICU .
Police said Vindhya was in love with Manjunath, who claimed to be an assistant director. The duo had met at a party and fell in love. They went to Delhi and Shimla recently and after returning, they parted ways.
Manjunath allegedly released some photos to a section of media a few days ago and tried to spread some rumours about her. Upset over this, Vindhya consumed tablets for diabetes and blood pressure.
Some news channel reported that Vindhya had consumed more than 70 sleeping pills to commit suicide. The health condition of the actress, who is presently in coma stage, is said to be in very critical. She was rushed to Curzon hospital in Shivajinagar, after losing consciousness.
