Hindi Chandramukhi- Bhool Bhulaiya To Get A Sequel!

Akshay Kumar rose as a star with emergence of Priyadarshan in Bollywood. The ace Malayalam director turned South films into plausible Hindi comedies and in major of them, Akshay starred as a lead.
Along with Priyadarshan, Anees Bazmee also contributed to Akshay's success as comedy movie star after Govinda lost that throne.
After Baby, Akshay changed his image to this patriotic hero on screen but that is getting monotonous too. Hence, the hero is looking to mix it up again.
He wants to concentrate on comedies too and Bhool Bhulaiya is one of his best horror comedies. As he is looking to make Kanchana remake, he wants to make a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiya also it seems.
The movie is a remake of Malayalam film, Mani Chitratazhu which was remade as Aptamitra in Kannada and then made as Chandramukhi with Rajnikanth in Tamil.
Chandramukhi is still highly popular but its sequel Nagavalli, ended up as a laughing stock. In Kannada though as Aptarakshaka it became a 200 days movie and also last movie of Vishnuvardhan, superstar of Kannada Cinema.
Well, Priyadarshan after his Malayalam film will make this one with Akshay and the shoot will mostly start by December end, it seems.
