Hollywood Makeup Expert Roped In For Jayalalitha Biopic

Bollywood star actress Kangana Ranaut has signed up to play the titular role in the biopic of legendary actress and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha. Directed by AL Vijay, this movie is titled as Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. It will be dubbed into Telugu as well.
Kangana will be seen in various getups in the film portraying Jaya of different ages. To make her resemble as Jaya, the team has roped in a Hollywood makeup profession for the movie. Jason Collins, who has an experience of working for Captain marvel and Blade Runner 2049 will be working as the makeup expert for Kangana.
The shoot of Thalaivi is expected to go on floors by the end of October or early November. Baahubali and Manikarnika writer Vijayendra Prasad will be penning the script of this film. It will be bankrolled jointly by Vishnu Induri and Sailesh R Singh.
