After failing to succeed with female-centric movies like 'Penguin' and 'Miss India', National Award-Winning actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to try her luck once again with 'Good Luck Sakhi'. This sports rom-com film is going to release on 28th January and the makers have released the theatrical trailer recently. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, this film has Aadi Pinisetty as the male lead while Jagapathi Babu and Rahul Ramakrishna essay crucial roles. The film boasts proudly of a female-dominated crew led by co-producer Shravya Varma.

The trailer kicks off with Jagapathi Babu deciding to train sharpshooters across the nation. It moves quickly to Sakhi is known for her 'Bad Luck'. The entire village calls her Bad Luck Sakhi and makes fun of her at every chance they get. Aadhi likes her and believes in her. It is him who suggests her name to Jagapathi Babu and the latter is shocked with her shooting skills. The villagers oppose this as they say that shooting is not for women. She enters the competition but fails badly on the big stage and the villagers mock her. Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi Pinisetty stand by her and motivate her to compete again.

'Good Luck Sakhi' looks promising if the trailer has anything to go by. Nagesh Kukunoor seems to have included all elements to make this commercially appealing. Keerthy Suresh impresses once again and her contagious smile is just a treat to watch. But there seem to be some problems with her dubbing at times in the trailer. The rest of the actors did well. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad's background score elevates the trailer and the songs got a positive response too. 'Worth A Shot Motion Arts' banner has not compromised and delivered a quality output. Visuals by Chirantas Das are good.

Dil Raju is presenting this film which is ready to hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages simultaneously. Let us wait and see how this film turns out this weekend. The movie has been postponed multiple times and the makers have finally decided to release 'Good Luck Sakhi' on 28th January 2022.
