Box office report: How did Pushpa fare in domestic and overseas market?

Allu Arjun's recent theatrical outing Pushpa: The Rise released amidst great hype and anticipation. The film initially opened to mixed reviews, but that didn't stop it from setting the box office on fire. The action drama was sold for exorbitant prices in the domestic market and that played a role in the lack of profits for the buyers. But the makers were quick to react and they compensated the buyers by paying back the losses and also offering the theatrical rights of the second part of Pushpa for very nominal prices. But what is the actual box office verdict of Pushpa: The Rise in the domestic and as well as the USA market.

The film has collected a total of around Rs 85 crores in the twin Telugu states - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The lack of special shows in Andhra Pradesh and the low ticket pricing model resulted in below par performance of Pushpa at the box office. The film was mostly affected by external factors. But the producers saw to it that the buyers were in the safe zone.
The surprise package is Pushpa's blockbuster run in the Hindi circuit. The film has collected a nett amount of over Rs 85 crores in the North India circut already and it is indeed heading towards the coveted Rs 100 crores mark. If the film actually makes it to the Rs 100 crores mark, it would be an astounding acheivement in every true sense. Pushpa is a successful venture in other languages as well. It reaped slight profits to the buyers in Kerala as it grossed Rs 11.5 crores here.
Pushpa managed to post excellent revenues in Tamil Nadu as well. The film has grossed around Rs 22 crores in the Tamil circuit which is a mighty achevement as well. All in all, Pushpa, can be termed a super hit / blockbuster if we consider the overall collections.
