Hyderabad Becoming The Go-To Spot For Shootings!

There was a time when every South Indian film used to be shot in the Madras region. It was because of the huge sets, workers and facilities which were readily available. But every film industry decided to build their own studios in their states which led to a lot of development. Of them, Hyderabad became the hub for Tollywood and many studios like Ramoji Film City, Ramanaidu Studios, Annapurna Studios, Padmalaya Studios, Saradhi Studios and many others were developed.

With advanced equipment and comforts, Hyderabad started to attract many filmmakers. Not just the Telugu makers but people from other languages to shoot their films in Hyderabad. With the restrictions being applied in other states, many star hero films are getting filmed in Hyderabad. Currently, Mohanlal's upcoming film under the direction of Jeetu Joseph is being shot in Hyderabad as the situation for shootings is a bit rigid in Kerala.

With Maharashtra suffering from a lot of Covid cases, many Hindi film crews are flying down to Hyderabad in order to get their work done. A major part of Farhan Akhtar's 'Toofan' which recently came out on Amazon Prime Video has been shot in Hyderabad. Not just these but many big films are currently getting made in Hyderabad due to the restrictions in other states and good infrastructure here.
