Imtiaz Ali became a big director with Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar successes but he started repeating himself in every film. Tamasha seems to be his film where he just went bonkers with his writing and then, even SRK's Jab Harry Met Sejal looked similar to his other films in terms of writing.
Both the films did not live upto the pre-release hype and promise, even one bit. His fans started losing hope and Love Aaj Kal's rehash is making them give up.
