Indian Govt Picks Chiranjeevi For Prestigious Award!

Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi had a glorious career in the industry that lasted for over four decades. Remained in the top position till he took a break from films for politics. At one point of time, he received higher remuneration than Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
The ace actor added another feather to his illustrious cap as he was picked for the India Film Personality of the Year 2022 at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI). IT Minister Anurag Thakur took to Twitter to announce the same and congratulated him.
"INDIAN FILM PERSONALITY @IFFIGoa Sh Chiranjeevi Ji has had an illustrious career spanning almost four decades, w/ over 150 films as an actor, dancer & producer. He is immensely popular in Telugu Cinema w/ incredible performances touching hearts! Congratulations @KChiruTweets!" the Union Minister said.
Chiranjeevi appeared in over 100 films which remains untouchable by the current generation of actors. The majority of his films are hit at the box office and this made him the darling of the masses. In the 90s he ruled the industry and he is called the Undisputed king of Tollywood.
His films had the power to pull the masses to the theatres. He was the first pick of directors and producers for mass films. That was the impact he had on the industry.
