The entire nation is eagerly waiting for 'RRR' directed by Rajamouli. Starring Ram Charan and NTR in the lead, the film is bankrolled by DVV Danayya on a budget of around 400 crores. Though the official numbers are yet to be revealed, it is one of the costliest films made in India.
Despite all the advances and non-theatrical sales, rumour suggests that over 200 crores have been brought from financiers. Apparently, a financier named Venkatramireddy gave over 200 crores for good interest and a few others have invested in this film too.
But with these continuous delays, the film is getting postponed a lot and analysts say that the interests are piling up heavily. Not just in Tollywood but the interest rates are heavy in other states too and industry experts suggest that the makers have to pay over 100 crores in the form of interests to all their financiers. Looks like this dream project from Rajamouli is turning into a nightmare for producers and distributors. Hope Rajamouli waves his magic wand and gets record-breaking collections thereby making everyone happy.
