People usually think remakes are a safe option to get success but seems like it is not the case with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The legendary actor has picked two remakes as his upcoming projects. While the remake of Malayalam film 'Lucifer' is 'Godfather', 'Bhola Shankar' is the title of 'Vedhalam' remake which he will be starting soon.
The shooting of 'Godfather' started a few weeks ago and the team is getting things down at a brisk pace. The rumours suggest that Megastar has raised some doubts over the script once again. As we know, Chiranjeevi wanted to remake this movie from a long time but it didn't happen till recently. Sujeeth was supposed to direct this remake initially but he was replaced by VV Vinayak before it finally fell into the hands of Mohan Raja. Chiru was reportedly not satisfied with the changes and modifications the earlier directors made. After locking the final script with Mohan Raja, Chiru finally entered the sets but reports suggest that he once again ordered a few tweaks in the script which made the film's unit to stop the shooting.
Director Mohan Raja and his writers' team are currently rewriting a few scenes as per reports and Megastar will be shooting for a song in 'Acharya' in the meanwhile. With these many changes, fans are starting to wonder why Chiru is so unsure about 'Godfather'. Apparently, Nayanthara is playing a key role in this movie while Salman Khan will also be seen as per sources. Thaman is composing the music while Nirav Shah is the cinematographer.
