Is Mahesh-Vamsi Paidipally Project Shelved?

After a successful 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', superstar Mahesh Babu gave his nod to work with his 'Maharshi' director Vamsi Paidipally. This film was expected to go on floors in May and get released during the next Sankranti season. Talk is that Mahesh will be seen as a gangster in the action thriller.
Trusted sources say that this project has been sidelined now. Apparently, 'Geetha Govindam' director Prasuram narrated an interesting idea which impresses 'Mythri Movie Makers' and they have convinced Mahesh Babu as per reports.
Dil Raju was supposed to produce Vamsi's film but Mythri Movie Makers and Parasuram obstructed his plan. Mahesh recently got back from his vacation and will take a month or two to get back in business. Till then, all we can do is to wait patiently to find out the truth. What do you think?
