Is RRR Producer Under Pressure?

The coronavirus lockdown in the country made the film industry shut overnight. After waiting for three long months, now the government has allowed the industry to resume their works following the social distancing measures.

Even after the lockdown, the movie business might undergo many changes. People may not be dared to rush to theatres amid the virus scare. In the case of big-budget films, there will be a huge problem for the distributors to get back their investments.

Rajamouli's RRR is currently under production will be affected severely. The deadly virus is giving sleepless nights to the distributors who brought the film for hefty amounts.

Well, no one is sure that when the theatres will be functioned like old times. As per the reports, the overseas business may not be recovered for another year.

Considering this, the distributors who gave advance to DVV Danayya are now demanding their money back. Over a year ago, RRR's overseas rights were sold to global distribution for Rs 60 plus Cr. And it is heard that they paid Rs 3 Cr as advance. So, now they are pressurising the makers to return their money back.
