Visionary filmmaker Shankar has been in the news a lot from the past couple of days. He announced the Hindi version of 'Anniyan' with Ranveer Singh as the lead which trended on social media. After that, his differences with Ascar Ravichandran regarding 'Anniyan' story rights also became viral. A few weeks back, he announced a film with Ram Charan as the lead under Dil Raju's production.
This crazy project is going to be Ram Charan's 15th film and it will be made on a pan-Indian scale considering the fact that Charan is going to have a national-wide market after 'RRR'. There is a lot of discussion going around about the heroine of this film. While a couple of names were heard, the rumors suggest that the makers have finalized on Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna.
This will be Rashmika's second film in the Mega compound after 'Pushpa' if it happens. The 'Geetha Govindam' actress is yet to sign the dotted line and news is that Chiru wants her as the heroine since she is the happening girl in town. Shankar is known for working with regular heroines who are not stars before his films. Let us wait and see what happens.
