Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is currently acting in 'Krack' directed by Gopichand Malineni. The teaser of the film released recently and it looks a mass police drama with a heavy dose of heroism. The teaser is getting a decent response from the audience which is encouraging to Ravi Teja and his fans.
As Tupaki exclusively revealed, 'Krack' is a remake of Tamil super hit film 'Sethupathi'. This Vijay Sethupathi starrer released a few years back and got accolades for its tight screenplay. Interestingly, 'Sethupathi' was already remade in Telugu. 'Takkari Donga' director Jayanth C Paranjee remade this film as 'Jayadev' with Ganta Ravi as the lead. The film turned out to be a disaster. Now Ravi Teja selected the same script knowing all of this and it is shocking many.
The energetic senior hero is facing the toughest time of his career with successive disasters. His last four films including 'Nela Ticket', 'Touch Chesi Choodu', 'Amar Akbar Anthony' and 'Disco Raja' damaged his market a lot. Fans are still not able to get over the failure of 'Disco Raja' and Ravi Teja picking up a regular remake at this juncture of the career is a big gamble as per experts.
It is all well and good if the film succeeds but imagine what happens to his already decreasing market if 'Krack' fails at the box-office!
