As we know, King Khan Shah Rukh is all set to arrive on the big screens with 'Pathaan' on 25th January. There is a huge hype on this film and the advance bookings are quite massive as everyone hoped. People are eager to see SRK back on the silver screen after a gap of nearly 5 years and the trailer raised the expectations massively.
The latest talk we hear is that SRK has charged 35-40 crores for this film which is quite low considering the fact that he is the biggest star in the country. As per reports, Khiladi Akshay Kumar who is going through a flop streak is charging more than SRK these days. If sources have anything to go by, Akshay reportedly took 120 crores of 'Cuttputlli' which is a remake of 'Rakshasudu'. This movie was released directly on Hotstar and sources claim that Akshay's remuneration itself was around 80% of the film's budget.
Insiders say that SRK will be taking a share in the profits of the movie as well. None of the two stars have commented on these reports but it looks like SRK is more into profit sharing than charging hundreds of crores for a single film.
The makers announced the release date and it will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Pathaan' is releasing on 25th January 2023. Satchith Paulose is the director of photography. Siddharth Anand wrote the story and directed this film while Shridhar Raghavan penned the screenplay. Let us wait till Republic Day to witness this action spectacle on the big screens. Siddharth Anand is the director while Aditya Chopra is the producer. John Abraham is playing a negative role while Deepika is the female lead in this slick action thriller.
